Adele set the challenge over at Dottie's World this week and boy, was this a challenge for me!!
The instructions were 'Pure and Simple' - no patterned paper or lots of embellishment. I almost had to tie my hands behind my back to stop myself, but here is the finished card. I used one of my favourite Dottie and George images, coloured with Ranger Distress Inks, highlighted with Inkessentials white pen and Glossy Accented (all available from Charmed Cards and Crafts btw).
An acetate flower, a brad and four tiny gems finished it off, oh and a tiny bit of white velvet ribbon!
Another massive departure from my usual, but as I said the other day, that's what challenges are all about. Why not pop over and have a go - we'd love to see you there.
Have a restful and relaxing Sunday if your kids/dogs/OHs will let you. xx

Hi there I love your card. Loved the way you did the glossy areas. never thought about an acetate flower before - will be getting my punches stuck into all the bits of acetate from now on - Fab
Hi Juliet - I love your card ... lots!
I must admit that this is my favourite of all the images of Dottie and George and I love the way you've made it all shiny to make it look REALLY rainy!
